Bob Mover started playing the alto saxophone in Miami at the age of 13. After early mentoring by Ira Sullivan, he was heard by Phil Woods who paid him a scholarship to study with him at a Summer Jazz Camp, in New Hope, PA.
After further mentoring by the likes of Roy Eldridge, Zoot Sims & James Moody, Kenny Dorham & Wynton Kelly, he joined Charles Mingus' Jazz workshop for a 5 month engagement at the age of 21. Later that year he left Mingus to join Chet Baker in the first of several sojourns with Baker.
For half a century Bob has played & began leading his own groups in NYC in 1976, and since then has toured the world playing and as an educator up to the present day.
He resides in NYC and is now the CEO and founder of the Bob Mover Academy, now a branch of Lower Manhattan Music Studio.
Jessy Kaiser is a 25 year veteran Special Ed and ESL teacher. She has also run her own private Education LLC, Apples in the Seed Productions & has made music a part of her life for the past 40+ years. For a few years she even directed 96 live evening TV shows at the former Access Tucson Public TV Station. In the past 5 years she has gone back to her passion of photography, music & since the beginning of the pandemic she has employed herself by designing websites too. She has lived and taught in Europe, Japan and the U.S. always utilizing music as part of her lessons, even if they were Science lessons.
She and & Bob met through a Jazz cat and began working on his autobiography together. A year later when he mentioned that he wanted to create BMA (now part of LMMS) Jessy jumped right on the band wagon & joined the team to spread the educational wholesomeness of music.
Thomas Hutchings is a professional saxophonist and music producer living in New York City.
Before starting Artists Without Labels, he worked in the technology industry for
16 years at a technology startup, collaborating on development of everything from logistics and business processes to inventory, database software design & CRM tools.
Thomas has appeared in film and television and has performed and recorded for audiences big and small all over the world.

Thomas sought out Bob Mover as a musical mentor after seeing him perform with Esperaza Spalding and studied improvisation with Bob for a decade before joining the BMA team.
Thomas also teaches beginning and intermediate saxophone lessons at LMMS & BMA.
